God will bring you to a point of weakness if that’s what it takes for you to trust Him more. Cause you’ll never know that God is all you need, until God is all you’ve got.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28, NIV)
God wants to give you rest. He wants to refresh and restore your soul — your mind, will and emotions. It’s so easy to get caught up in the “busyness” of life, and before long, your mind, will and emotions are so “spun up” that you can barely think straight! But even in the hustle of life, you can find rest, ease and relaxation. God wants you to enjoy your life. That’s why He tells us to come to Him. God wants to take care of everything that concerns you so that you can find rest in your innermost being.
Imagine how you would feel if someone came up to you today and said, “Give me all of your monthly bills; I’m going to pay them.” You’d get pretty excited, wouldn’t you? But it wouldn’t happen until you did your part to actually hand that person your bills. They can’t pay them for you if you never release them. In the same way, when we release our cares and concerns to God, He promises to take care of them.
Today, choose to release your cares to the Lord. Let Him fill you with His peace and joy. Receive the rest that He promises and enjoy the fulfillment and blessing He has for you!
Dear Heavenly Father,
I am SO done living my own life.
I am SO done living a lukewarm life.
I’m so tired of failing & I’m so fed up with my sins.
I’m tired of being defeated in my daily battles and struggles.
I’m tired of fighting against my flesh & making poor decisions.
I feel like every-time I try to take 3 steps forward closer to You,
the enemy is constantly pulling my flesh down and then I take 10 steps backward.Why is this SO hard?
Father would You give me the strength everyday to walk in Your ways.
Would You search me, test me, and make my heart pure so that I may see You..
Would help me strive to enter that narrow gates of Your heavenly kingdom?
Because I know many will find it, but only a few will be able to enter it.
And I want to be those few who will enter it.
I desire to stand before You my Lord, my God, my King on that judgement day and hear Your words and say,“Well done my good and faithful servant.”
Please Father, hear my cry. Hear my prayer. Take my life and take full control of me. I want to spend eternity with You. I want to be blameless and holy before Your coming. I want to be set apart and be distinguished as Your Child. Give me the desires of Your heart and plant them in my heart so that my outmost desires are all about You and Your works. Just like what Apostle Paul said in Galatians 2:20“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
What an appropriate verse for my life at the moment: “When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your love, O Lord, supported me.

I am a sinner, if it’s not one thing it’s another.
Caught up in words, tangled in lies.
But You are a Savior and You take brokenness aside, and make it beautiful, beautiful.
Let me just say this to you as humbly but as graciously and aggressively as I can. If you are a man or woman who hears the message of grace and says, “Oh, is that right? I love this message. I’ll do anything I want to do because there will be grace for me,” I want you to hear me say that if you can think that way, act that way and live that way, you are not saved. “Well I went to RA camp, and they did a scary sketch about going to hell. That night I prayed for Christ to come into my life.” We’ve said this for years here. Heaven is not a place for those who are afraid of hell. That’s not what it was built for. If you can believe, walk and live like, “I’ll do whatever I want, because God is going to forgive me,” you are not a believer. Christ has set us free to pursue and become what we are in the sight of God, blameless, holy and perfect. And I love the way Calvin ordered it, because he says we are called blameless by the Father, through Christ and then set free to pursue what we are in Christ. So it starts with a regenerate heart, and that regenerate heart leads to a pursuit of blamelessness. A perfect pursuit of blamelessness? No. You’re going to stumble and fall along the way. That’s the whole point of the cross.
